"Can You Really Get Fit at Home?"
Move better. Feel better. Perform better.
This principle guides all of my services — helping you reclaim strength, energy, and confidence, then sustain those benefits for life.
Absolutely. Many of the most effective exercises use nothing more than your bodyweight, but you don’t have to rely on bodyweight alone. I bring professional gear with me to every session—resistance bands, dumbbells, stability tools, and mobility equipment. This way, you get the same variety and challenge you’d find in a gym—without leaving your house, and always at a level that feels achievable and safe.
You don’t need a home gym or a large area. Most workouts can be done in a living room, office, or even a small corner. I design programs that fit your space, so you can achieve results no matter the size of your home.
My personal training program is designed for women and men over 40 who want to regain strength, mobility, and confidence — safely and effectively.
This program isn’t the right fit if:
You’re under 40 and looking for high‑intensity, competitive training
You want a “quick fix” or expect dramatic results such as losing 30 pounds of fat in 30 days, gaining 30 pounds of muscle in 30 days, or achieving six‑pack abs in 30 days
You’re unwilling to commit to consistent effort and gradual progress.
Yes. As a Functional Aging Specialist and Senior Fitness Specialist, I design safe, effective programs that improve balance, strength, endurance, and independence.
That’s where my Orthopaedic Exercise Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist training comes in. I tailor exercises to reduce pain and strengthen weak areas.
No. I bring the gear with me — resistance bands, weights, balance tools, and more — so you get a full, effective workout right in your living room.
Both options are available in Canada. Online training provides flexibility and accessibility, while in‑home sessions offer convenience and privacy. In‑home training is available within the Powell River area.
Online sessions are interactive and personalized. We connect through secure video calls, where I guide you through safe, effective workouts using the equipment you have available — with ongoing support and accountability tailored to your goals.
That’s perfectly fine. I start with simple, functional movements matched to your current ability. Even clients who haven’t exercised in decades have successfully built strength, flexibility, mobility, and confidence.
I use a combination of movement assessments, strength benchmarks, and lifestyle improvements. Progress isn’t just about numbers — it’s about how much better you move, feel, and perform in daily life.
Independence. Beyond weight loss or muscle tone, clients often say the greatest benefit is being able to travel, play with grandchildren, or live without fear of falling. Independence is built on a foundation of physical qualities: increased strength, improved endurance, greater flexibility, and enhanced mobility. Together, these benefits create lasting confidence and vitality.
Most clients feel better after their very first workout — often reporting less stiffness and more energy. Within 2–3 weeks, increased mobility and vitality become noticeable.
Exercise benefits are not permanent unless you continue moving. You can regain strength, endurance, mobility, and energy — but to sustain them, you must keep training.
Regain it, then train it to sustain it.
Yes. Many clients combine personal training with nutrition or health coaching for a more complete approach.
I’m not just a trainer — I’m a Functional Aging Specialist, Orthopaedic Exercise Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Senior Fitness Specialist. My programs are science‑based, tailored to adults over 40, and focused on safe, sustainable progress.
